Arun Vijay Begins Dubbing For ‘Sinam’

The team of Arun Vijay starrer Sinam is the latest to commence with post-production work after the government approved the resumption of activities amidst the coronavirus pandemic with necessary precautions. After a small puja, they have commenced with dubbing on Monday by recording the portions of the lead actor. Helmed by GNR Kumaravelan who shot to fame with his critically acclaimed Haridasthe film is bankrolled by R Vijaykumar’s Movie Slides Pvt Ltd, Arun Vijay’s home banner.

Arun Vijay plays an upright cop named Paari. The film reportedly deals with a ‘current crisis in the society’ and has its share of fictional elements. Palak Lalwani who was last seen in Sixer plays the female lead with Kaali Venkat in a significant role. Shabir of Nenjamundu Nermaiyundu Odu Raja fame is composing music while cinematography is by S Gopinath, who earlier worked with Arun Vijay in Thadam. Michael helms art with Raja Mohammed on edit and Stunt Silva choreographing action sequences.

The final leg of the shoot that took place in Chennai reportedly involved huge set works and extraordinary action sequences and was wrapped up in March.

Recently, the team was found working on the songs of the film through video conferencing.

Meanwhile, Arun Vijay has been working out tirelessly during the quarantine period and spending quality time with his family and pet dog Rudhra. He has also been sharing old pictures and videos and cherishing memories.

On the work front, Arun Vijay will next be seen in Naveen M’s Agni Siragugal alongside Vijay Antony and Akshara Haasan, Vivek’s Boxer alongside Ritika Singh, and Arivazhagan‘s AV 31 which has reportedly been titled ‘Zindabad’. His previous release Mafia helmed by Karthick Naren saw him play a Narcotics Control bureau officer. Prasanna and Priya Bhavani Shankar also star alongside the actor.

The actor also recently celebrated 25 years in the film industry. He started his career with Sundar C’s 1995 comedy-drama Murai Mappillai.
