Following its French dubbing, SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali is all set to release in France on the June 8, 2016. Rajamouli’s father and the film’s writer Vijayendra Prasad said, “Baahubali is all set to collect an extra Rs.100 crores with the France release.”
Baahubali starred Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannah, Anushka, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, and Nasser. The shooting of the sequel is currently under progress and is expected to release in April 2017. The German version of the film, Ich Bin Baahubali, was released in 29 screens across Germany. However, the film only collected €4,166 (Rs. 3.17 lakh) at the box office in its first weekend. Compared to the returns of other Bollywood films which have had a dubbed release in Germany, this was a fairly lukewarm response.
