Shahid Kapoor, who is currently working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Padmavati, is reportedly in talks with the filmmaker for another project. According to a DNA report, the movie will be produced by SLB’s production house and is said to be a lighthearted rom-com with a lot of dancing.

“Shahid has heard the script. He is getting a final narration, and soon after, he might sign it. SLB is producing the film, and it will be helmed by a new director. He [Bhansali] has been wanting to do a commercial film that connects with the masses and the classes, unlike Shaandaar, which was too nice and didn’t connect with anyone,” a source told DNA.
The film has been titled Tuesdays And Fridays.
Meanwhile, Padmavati has been facing a lot of difficulties since its inception.
The filmmaker was assaulted in January by Karni Sena activists, and yesterday, the film’s sets were torched in Kolhapur by unknown miscreants.
The film stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmini, Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji and Shahid Kapur as Raja Raval Ratan Singh.
