Actors Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh’s untitled helmed by debutant Kaashvie Nair has resumed shoot on Monday at Film City Studios in Mumbai. The cross-border love story is being jointly bankrolled by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, and Krishan Kumar under their T-Series banner, Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Nikkhil Advani under their Emmay Entertainment banner, and by John Abraham under his JA Entertainment banner.

Sufiyum Sujathayum, starring Jayasurya and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles will hit the OTT platform, Amazon Prime Video, directly on July 3. The film is a romantic thriller directed by Karie fame Naranipuzha Shanavas. Bankrolled by Vijay Babu’s Friday Film House, Sufiyum Sujathayum is the fifth movie collaboration of Jayasurya and Vijay Babu after Philips And The Monkey Pen, Aadu Oru Bheekarajeeviyaanu 1 and 2, and Thrissur Pooram.

Aditi Rao Hydari Joins Cast Of Vijay Sethupathi-Starrer ‘Tughlaq Durbar’

It’s been a spate of announcements from the Tughlaq Darbar team. Today, it was revealed that Aditi Rao Hydari, last seen in Chekka Chivantha Vaanam in Tamil and Antariksham 9000 Km in Telugu, has been roped in as the female lead. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi and actor-director Radhakrishnan Parthiban. It was also announced that Balaji Tharaneetharan, who last directed Vijay Sethupathi in Seethakaathi, will write the dialogues and that director Prem Kumar, who gave the actor a huge hit in 96, will come on board as cinemtographer. Incidentally, Balaji’s debut, Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom, one of the films that marked Vijay Sethupathi’s ascent to stardom, was based on an incident that took place in Prem’s life.
