Maha Samudram, the upcoming Telugu film, starring actors Sharwanand, Siddharth, Aditi Rao Hydari and Anu Emmanuel, will release in theatres on August 19, makers of the film announced on Saturday.
Actor Raashi Khanna will be playing the lead role opposite Vijay Sethupathi in the upcoming film Tughlaq Durbar, replacing Aditi Rao Hydari, Seven Screen Studio which will be bankrolling the film, announced on Tuesday.

Amazon Prime Video today unveiled the trailer for Malayalam film, Sufiyum Sujatayum, which makes its global premiere exclusively on the service and is the fourth such film in recent times to do so.
Sufiyum Sujathayum, starring Jayasurya and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles will hit the OTT platform, Amazon Prime Video, directly on July 3. Aditi Rao Hydari, who played one of the supporting roles in director Ranjith Balakrishnan’s Prajapathi (2006), is returning to the Malayalam film industry through Sufiyum Sujathayum, a romantic drama directed by Naranipuzha Shanavas. Jayasurya plays the male lead in the film, which is produced by Vijay Babu of Friday Film House.

It’s been a spate of announcements from the Tughlaq Darbar team. Today, it was revealed that Aditi Rao Hydari, last seen in Chekka Chivantha Vaanam in Tamil and Antariksham 9000 Km in Telugu, has been roped in as the female lead. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi and actor-director Radhakrishnan Parthiban. It was also announced that Balaji Tharaneetharan, who last directed Vijay Sethupathi in Seethakaathi, will write the dialogues and that director Prem Kumar, who gave the actor a huge hit in 96, will come on board as cinemtographer. Incidentally, Balaji’s debut, Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom, one of the films that marked Vijay Sethupathi’s ascent to stardom, was based on an incident that took place in Prem’s life.
