The Film Exhibitors United Organisation of Kerala (FEUOK) on Monday rubbished reports stating that the organisation had sought a ban on actor Fahadh Faasil due to his decision of releasing films on streaming platforms.

While Kumbalangi Nights is winning rave reviews, Fahadh Faasil’s second release of the year has already been announced. Titled Athiran, the movie features Sai Pallavi in the female lead and is directed by debutant Vivek.
Kumbalangi Nights starring Fahadh Faasil will release on February 7 next year. The movie is written by Shyam Pushkaran who won the National Award for best original screenplay for Maheshinte Prathikaram.
Like how he had done in Iyyobinte Pusthakam, Amal Neerad turns instances of violence in the plot into the most significant moments in the film.
