In the second innings of his career, he has been open to experimentation and has taken up a variety of roles. The latest in that regard is his venture into a web series for the first time in his career.
A source close to the unit told DC, “Yes, Bhavana has been approached for the role.The actress has been offered the opportunity to play the female lead in Patel S. I. R.Director Vasu Parimi is in talks with the actress, who he believes will carry the role with “elan”.

Actor Jagapathi Babu, who last acted alongside Rajinikanth in director KS Ravikumar’s Lingaa, will play a RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) agent in director Selvaraghavan’s upcoming film Kaan. Speaking to TOI, Jagapathi Babu said his character will be a RAW operative who has been thrown out, and is frustrated with how his life is unfolding. The character will be mouthing several profanities, which Jagapathi Babu feels will lend authenticity to the character, even though the actual words will be replaced with beeps. RAW is India’s primary foreign intelligence agency.
Actor Jagapathi Babu, who plays Mahesh Babu’s father in Srimanthudu, is in awe of the superstar. “Mahesh owns every scene he stars in. His dedication is infectious and there’s so much I got to learn from him on the sets,” Jagapathi told Silverscreen. The 53-year old actor also believes Mahesh is a perfectionist. Although this is the first time the duo has worked together, Jagapathi says he’d love to work with him again.

The teaser of Rangasthalam, starring Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni is out. Playing the role of Chitti Babu, the village engineer, Ram Charan appears more animated than ever. Actor Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu is going strong at the box office, and has collected over Rs. 60 crore in its opening weekend. Taking ahead his fight against piracy, Mahesh, on Tuesday, requested his fans to watch movies only in theatres.
Superstar Mahesh Babu’s forthcoming release Srimanthudu will be dubbed and released in Tamil as Selvandhan.In a recent interview, Mahesh said: “Since I was already busy with other commitments, I couldn’t take out the time to dub for the Tamil version.Contrary to reports, the actor hasn’t dubbed in his own voice for the Tamil version due to his busy schedule.
