The first look poster of actor Jayam Ravi’s next film Bhoomi has dropped. The film helmed by director Lakshman is being bankrolled by Sujataa Vijaykumar’s Home Movie Makers which had previously commissioned director Karthik Thangavel’s Adanga Maru that also had Jayam Ravi in the lead. The actor will be seen associating with director Lakshman for the third time after successful outings in Romeo Juliet and Bogan.
Actor Jayam Ravi’s 25th film to be directed by Lakshman (Bhogan) has been titled Bhoomi. The movie is being bankrolled by Sujataa Vijaykumar’s Home Movie Makers which had previously commissioned director Karthik Thangavel’s Adanga Maru that also had Jayam Ravi in the lead. After spending many months on pre-production work, Ravi Teja has now walked out of the Telugu remake of Bogan – the shooting for which was supposed to start this month.
Bogan will be remade in Telugu. According to reports, Ravi Teja has been signed on to play the male lead. He will reprise actor Jayam Ravi’s role in the remake.

After playing the antagonist in Mohan Raja’s Thani Oruvan, actor Aravind Swami is in talks for director Lakshman’s upcoming film, starring Jayam Ravi. According to a Deccan Chronicle, Lakshman has narrated the script to Aravind Swami and is waiting for his response. The film will also feature two heroines, and will be produced by Prabhudeva’s home banner. Earlier, Bobby Simhaa and Vijay Sethupathi had been in contention to play the hero. Jayam Ravi was subsequently signed as the male lead, and will start shooting after he completes director Shakthi Soundar Rajan’s Miruthan.
Actor Lakshman Narayan, who made his debut in director Bharathiraja’s Annakodi, has signed his next film. An associate to director Suseenthiran is all set to direct Lakshman in the sequel to Vennila Kabbadi Kuzhu. The script will be written by director Suseenthiran himself.
Romeo Juliet director Lakshman firmly believes that D Imman’s music for the film will get him a Bollywood offer.
