Santa Maria Gets A New Title

Nivin Pauly is all set for the release of his next Tamil film. Initially titled Santa Maria, the movie has had a name change. In an interview with Deccan Chronicle, the director, Gautham Ramachandran, announced the new title and said, “We have fixed Richie as the title and it is Nivin’s name in the film. We had considered a lot of options and producers Anand Kumar and Vinod Shornur felt that Richie would be perfect for the film. The title design and the first look poster will be unveiled in the coming week.”

Maya Audio Launch On July 13

The audio launch for the Nayanthara-starrer Maya has been scheduled for July 13, tweeted producer SR Prabhu. Post-production work is underway and an official confirmation on the release is expected shortly.  Maya will feature Nayanthara as a ghost and actor Aari as a painter. Aari trained in painting with art director Ramalingam to lend authenticity to his role, which has several close-up shots of him painting.

The first look of Nayanthara-starrer Maya will be unveiled on June 12 at 5 pm, confirmed the actress and producer SR Prabhu on their Twitter pages. Reportedly, the shooting of this film has been completed and the post-production work is going on now.

Aari Learns Painting For Maya

Actor Aari, who is playing an artist in his upcoming movie Maya, had to learn to sketch and paint as the movie had close-up shots. A Deccan Chronicle report says that the actor took the effort to learn the art even while the director suggested having a dupe for the close-up shots.
