Sahdev Dirdo, who earned viral fame for his Bachpan ka Pyaar video, has recovered after being hospitalised for a bike accident. The 10-year-old took to Instagram and expressed gratitude to his doctors and well-wishers.
“Words will never be enough. Thank you all, for all the prayers and wishes,” he captioned his post. Speaking in Hindi, Dirdo said in the video, “Hello, this is Sahdev. I have fully recovered now. I want to thank everyone for their prayers and wishes. To the doctors and staff, thank you so much.”
On December 28, the young singer was travelling with his father on a motorcycle, when they met with an accident. Dirdo, who suffered from a serious head injury, was rushed to the district hospital. After being administered preliminary treatment there, he was shifted to Jagdalpur Medical College hospital. At the time, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had instructed regional collector Vineet Nandanwar to provide Dirdo with the best medical aid at the earliest.
A day after the accident, rapper-singer Badshah had informed his fans about it via social media. “In touch with Sahdev’s family and friends. He is unconscious, on his way to the hospital. I’m there for him. Need your prayers,” he wrote.

Badshah, who released a remix version of Bachpan ka Pyaar, featuring Dirdo, in August, later took to Twitter to share an update on the young singer’s condition and wrote that he would be going to Raipur to consult a good neurosurgeon.
In 2019, Dirdo became an internet sensation after a video of him singing the song Bachpan Ka Pyaar went viral. The video was reportedly shot the same year, inside his classroom, by his school teacher. After his sudden fame, while several content creators used his video to make their own content, Badshah included Dirdo in the music video of the song’s remix, along with singer Aastha Gill.
