The actor, who recently announced her separation from husband and actor Naga Chaitanya after four years of marriage, has been the centre of rumours since then with several speculations doing the rounds about her personal life.

According to the IANS report, channels such as Suman TV, Telugu Popular TV, and a few others will be receiving legal notices from the actor for spreading misinformation and maligning her image. Along with the channels, Samantha has also filed a legal notice against one Venkat Rao, a lawyer who allegedly spoke about the actor’s marital life and claimed that she was involved in affairs.

It is to be noted that post the couple’s separation, rumours have particularly targeted Samantha, which even led to her releasing a statement. While Naga Chaitanya has not spoken since his divorce announcement, Samantha, in a note shared on social media, said, “Your emotional investment into a personal crisis has overwhelmed me. Thank you all for showing deep empathy, concern and for defending me against false rumours and stories that are being spread. They say I had affairs, never wanted children, that I am an opportunist, and now that I have had abortions.”

Calling divorce an “extremely painful process,” Samantha added that the personal attack on her has been “relentless.”
