Nagarjuna Shoots at Rohtang Pass for 21 Days for Wild Dog

Actor Nagarjuna, who is currently shooting for his next project Wild Dog in Rohtang Pass, shared a video from the shoot location surrounded by snow-capped mountains, on Twitter on Thursday.

In the video, Nagarjuna says that shooting in the location will be completed in the next 21 days.

Wild Dog, directed by debutant director Ahishor Solomon, will feature Nagarjuna, Saiyami Kher, Dia Mirza, Atul Kulkarni, and Ali Reza. The Telugu language action-thriller film will see the Manmadhudu 2 actor playing the role of an NIA (National Investigation Agency) officer and encounter specialist ACP Vijay Varma.

As it was last reported, the cast and crew of the film were filming in Manali. According to a report by India Today, on October 20, actor Ali Reza took to Instagram to share a black and white photo of the 61-year-old actor who could be seen holding a gun. Reportedly, the crew flew from Hyderabad to Chandigarh, Punjab, and went to Manali by road.

Part of the filming took place in Hyderabad and Goa for twenty days and a schedule was planned in Thailand. Nearly 70% of the shoot was complete by February this year before being stalled due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the consequent lockdown. The shooting resumed in September.

The film is bankrolled by Niranjan Reddy and Anvesh Reddy under the banner Matinee Entertainment.

Meanwhile, Nagarjuna will be next seen in the highly anticipated film Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji. The film features Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. His last venture was the 2019 romantic-comedy Manmadhudu 2.

Saiyami Kher’s last film venture was the Netflix original film Choked directed by Anurag Kashyap. She was also seen in Amazon Prime’s 2020 web series Breathe: Into the Shadows, a sequel to the 2018 series Breathe. Dia Mirza was last seen in Anubhav Sinha‘s Thappad which released earlier this year.
