Prabhu Deva, Ram Charan, Farah Khan May Judge Dance Show for Specially-abled

Ram Charan, Farah Khan and Prabhu Deva are likely to be a part of a digital dance talent show #HealUrlifeThroughDance, that celebrates the spirit of the specially-abled.

Khan was the first to post about it on Twitter on Monday.

The show is an initiative of Upasana Konidela, vice chairman of CSR Apollo Hospitals Group and managing director of Apollo Life, and wife of actor Ram Charan. Upasana founded URLife- a wellness platform that inspires people to live life to the fullest by harnessing the power of technology to promote healthy lifestyle choices.

She shared a video on Twitter on Wednesday featuring Prabhu Deva, Ram Charan and Khan talking about the importance of dance in their lives and the need to celebrate the spirit of the “divyangjan brothers and sisters.”

The entries for the same is now open and the last day to submit is October 15. The registration link was also provided in the post. Government-recognised Differently Abled Certificate is a mandatory requirement for participants.

Pune-based NGO Leo Club of Poona Nature Lovers has a similar annual talent hunt show EPIC (Encouraging Potenial in Community) for the differently-abled. Abhishek Sunil Thaware found fame after participating in this talent hunt. Despite being afflicted with polio on his right hand, he is the first teeth archer of India and has represented the country at the 2015 Paralympics.

Ram Charan is shooting for SS Rajamouli‘s RRR, featuring Junior NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, Olivia Morris and others. He was last seen in Vinaya Vidheya Rama (2019).

Khan’s latest production was Netflix original Mrs. Serial Killer,  featuring Jacqueline Fernandez, Manoj Bajpayee, Mohit Raina, and others. It was written and directed by Shirish Kunder, her husband, and released on May 1. Her last project as a director was the 2014 film Happy New Year.

Prabhu Deva is directing Salman Khan-starrer Radhe, which resumed shoot recently. The actor-director duo worked together for the 2019 release Dabangg 3.
