Yes, there is no novelty in the story as we’ve seen it so many times before. But the comedy galatta by Kovai Sarala, Santhanam and Manobala is the highlight of Aranmanai. It is not uncommon to see such a huge star cast in a film, the but the director has succeeded in taking every character to the audience. Each one’s character; be it, Andrea, Vinay or Raai Laxmi, every role is etched out in the minds of the audiences. Andrea deserves a special mention here and Santhanam’s comedy punch lines make us laugh heartily.
While the film, for most parts, resemble some old horror flicks, the comedy in it fulfils our expectations to a certain level. A good entertainer, It is, no doubt!
