To sum it all up, Jilla is yet another Vijay movie. It is neither captivating as Thuppaki or Pokkir nor uninteresting as many of his older ones. Give it a chance if you don’t mind him being portrayed as a cop without the quintessential larger than life machismo. You won’t be terribly disappointed.
