The biggest plus of Komban are the songs and stunt sequences. All the songs scored by GV Prakash are superb; especially the Karuppu Nirathazhagi number. Some of the minor flaws in the film is that the story goes wayward and there is no strong reason behind why the gang aims to kill Raj Kiran. Other than this, Komban makes the audiences experience an excursion to the southern districts of the state.
