Often the film’s another important character Poochi(Venkatraj) fails to create impact with acting and hence we couldn’t connect with his character. Also, the emotional sequences towards the end are not that much convincing and look like an amateurish attempt. Also the narration looks sluggish in many places, had the director concentrated more on the writing and extracting best work from his actors, the film would have been a great attempt but now ends up as a passable film.
Overall, Naan Thaan Bala is watchable only for Vivek.
