The Raghava Lawrence starrer sees Nikki Galrani playing the female lead, while Lawrence essays the role of a police officer.
The movie’s release has been delayed a couple of times because of the ongoing legal battle between the producers and a financier. Tamil film financier Bothra had alleged that the film’s producers owe him Rs 7.5 crores. The case is still in court.
Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva is produced by BR Choudhary of Super Good Films. The music has been composed by Amresh Ganesh; Praveen K L has handled the editing.
Fun fact: ‘Motta Shiva Ketta Shiva’ is a ‘punch-line’ from Raghava Lawrence’s previous film, Muni 3: Ganga.
Badrinath Ki Dulhania:
Badrinath Ki Dulhania, starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt, is all set to hit the screens tomorrow. It is the second film from the Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania franchise – directed by Shashank Khaitan.
In an interview with IANS, Alia Bhatt said that her character is a feminist and is very driven in life. “Kavya [in the first film] is younger, more naive, and simple. She has one aim in life, to get married in a lehenga. Whereas Vaidehi [in Badrinath Ki Dulhania] is strong, mature, ambitious, and more of a feminist.”
On the other hand, Varun Dhawan, in an interview with the PTI, has said that “the things that Badri does makes him look like a chauvinist.”
Badrinath Ki Dulhania is produced by Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Productions. The movie also stars Guahar Khan, Mohit Marwah and Aakansha Singh.
