Two audio launches happened in Chennai yesterday – Tik Tik Tik and Thaanaa Serndha Koottam.
Suriya at the audio launch said that though the movie is inspired from Bollywood’s Special 26 but director Vignesh Shivan gave it his own spin. It’s based on a real incident that took place in 1987. “Usually, in most of my movies, I would be seen tensed and infuriated while emoting. But in Thaanaa Serndha Koottam, my role is completely refrained from such attitudes. Vignesh Shivan would often correct it saying that ‘Sir, the characterisation doesn’t need to get angry. Everything including the dialogue deliveries and body language were completely new to me,” he said.
Art director Kiran, Thambi Ramaiah, Ramya Krishnan, Keerthy Suresh and Suresh Menon were also present at the event. The film is scheduled for a Pongal release.
Tik Tik Tik starring Jayam Ravi and Nivetha Pethuraj will release on January 26. Jayam Ravi’s six-year-old son Aarav is also making his debut. “Tik Tik Tik will definitely be a milestone film in my career and an important project in Tamil cinema,” said the actor.
