Director Shankar on Republic Day said that the CGI work on the trailer of 2.0 is going on and will be released once it’s over. He also released a Thai lantern in Taiwan which had Indian 2 written on it.
The makers of the sci-fi drama 2.0 have announced that the film is likely to release in April. It stars Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, and Amy Jackson and the music is composed by AR Rahman. Kamal Haasan will be teaming up with Shankar again for Indian 2.

Telugu actor Nani escaped with minor injuries after his car rammed into an electric pole in Hyderabad. The incident took place in the early hours of Friday. The actor took to Twitter assuring that he is okay and will get back to work within a week.
