Tom Cruise shared a teaser of the Top Gun sequel. He tweeted a picture of his character Pete “Maverick” Mitchell. The shooting for the sequel has already started. It’s not clear whether the original cast of the cult classic will reprise their roles, but according to Variety, Tom Cruise would play the role of flight instructor and “the film would explore a world of drone technology, fifth-generation fighters and the end of the era of dog-fighting.”
