SS Rajamouli has said that it was wrong on his part to talk about Sri Devi’s decision to back out of Baahubali.
“As for whose version to believe, I guess it is for people to decide. But one thing is for sure. I shouldn’t have discussed the details on a public platform. That’s a mistake. And I regret it.”
The director apologised for his behaviour and said that he hoped Sri Devi’s latest release, Mom, would do well at the box office.

“There is no question of showing the film to Congress or any political party, till the time the censor hasn’t passed
the film. It is my prerogative whom I should show or not show my film. Nobody can force me to show them the film.
“I would tell Congress people to come and watch the film in theatres before making such comments on a film which hasn’t even released, or cleared by the censor board,” Bhandarkar told PTI.
Nihalani, CBFC Chief, also said that he was not obligated to respond to such demands from political parties.
