Akshay Kumar in an interview to Mid-Day has clarified that Shankar’s 2.0 and Padman will not release on the same day. “Why would I clash with my own film? It will be either Padman or 2.0.” the actor said. He added, “I have produced Padman and 2.0 is being bankrolled by Lyca. The production house will decide when to release 2.0. If they have plans to release 2.0 on Republic Day then I will definitely postpone the release of Padman.”
