Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all set to play the late Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray in the biopic titled Thackeray. The film’s teaser is out where the actor can be seen bearing an uncanny resemblance to the leader. The film is directed by Abhijit Panse and has been written by Rajya Sabha MP and Shiv Sena spokesperson Sanjay Raut, who will also produce the film. The film is expected to release in early 2019.

Actress Sunny Leone, who was not allowed by the Bengaluru Police to perform in the city on New Year’s Eve, has found support in the Karnataka High Court. According to The News Minute, the Karnataka HC asked why the police was discriminating against Sunny Leone while other private parties had permission. The court has set December 25 as the deadline for police to take a call on whether she could perform in the city.
Justice B Veerappa has asked the police to file an affidavit citing the number of clubs granted permission to hold New Year events.

Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again‘s trailer is out, featuring a very cool Cher playing Sophie’s (Amanda Seyfriend) grandmother. The sequel shows the lead character, Sophie, pregnant and welcoming her mom’s best friends Tanya (Christine Baranski) and Rosie (Julie Walters) back to Greece to help her get ready for baby. The film will also see the return of Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgard and Colin Firth as Sophie’s three possible dads. The film is scheduled for a July 20 release.
