Akshay Kumar’s upcoming Padman is being tailored to fit a pan-Indian audience. The movie was announced as a biopic of Arunachalam Muruganandham, a Tamilian. Now, the makers, in an effort to make it palatable for Akshay’s audience, will not include any reference to the lead characters’ background.

As the standoff over Jallikattu continues, Kamal Haasan has asked PETA to try and stop rodeo drives in the US, before attacking Jallikattu. Through a series of tweets, Kamal attacked the animal rights group and said that it was not qualified to comment about Jallikattu.

Through a video, Aadhi has said that he was hurt with the way men and women have used this platform to sort out their own grievances. He asked the protestors to not indulge in violence, and is said to be considering distancing himself from the protests.
