What’s making the news
Even though Rajinikanth did not meet his fans on his birthday, a statement issued by the All India Rajinikanth Fans Association said that the star would be meeting and interacting with his fans from December 26 to 31 at Raghavendra hall, Kodambakkam in Chennai. The meetings will be held between 8 am and 3 pm and around 1,000 people are expected to turn up each day.
Last time he met his fans was in May. He had said, “When war comes they (professionals) will come to the rescue of their motherland… I have a profession, work, duty and so do you. Go to your places, do your duty, take care of your vocation.. Let us face the war when it comes.”

In response to Salma Hayek’s allegations, Harvey Weinstein’s spokesperson in a statement said, “All of the sexual allegations as portrayed by [Hayek] are not accurate and others who witnessed the events have a different account of what transpired.”
