Ronnie Screwvala’s ‘Love Per Square Foot’ To Be Netflix’s First Indian Film; Indrajith Comic Book Launched

What’s making the news 

Streaming video giant Netflix will venture into it’s first Indian film in collaboration with Ronnie Screwvala production house RSVP. Pegged to be a quirky romantic comedy set in Mumbai, the film will star Vicky Kaushal and Angira Dhar and it’s titled as Love Per Square Foot. Directed by Anand Tiwari, the film will also have Ratna Pathak Shah, Supriya Pathak and Raghubir Yadav.

An adaptation of Vikram Chandra’s novel Sacred Games and a collaboration with Shah Rukh Khan’s company Red Chillies Entertainment for a web-series based on Bilal Siddiqi’s novel The Bard of Blood are the other Netflix ventures in India

Looks like Tabu is on a light-hearted spree. After the no-brainer Golmaal Again, Tabu will be seen in a romantic comedy with Ajay Devgn. Here’s a vignette from one of their earlier films, Vijaypath:

Allegations against disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein keep piling up. Now, an actress filed a federal suit against Weinstein, accusing him of violating sex trafficking laws by luring her to a hotel room in Cannes. She also stated that Weinstein allegedly groped her and trapped her in a bathroom and forced her to masturbate him, reported Variety.
