What’s making the news 

SS Rajamouli’s 2015 film Baahubali‘s soundtrack made it to the National Basketball Association (NBA) Games. Several performers were seen dancing to the theme song at the inaugural function.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film has Prabhas playing the title role. Others in the star cast include Anushka Shetty, Tammannah, Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj, Nasser, Ramya Krishnan and others.

What to watch out for

Oru Nalla Naal Pathu Solren‘s teaser will be out on November 29. The film is being directed by Arumuga Kumar and stars Vijay Sethupathi, Gautham Karthik, Niharika Konidela, and Gayathrie. The shooting of the film is complete and the team is currently working on the post-production details.

AR Rahman has reportedly started composing for Mani Ratnam’s next. According to The Times of India, the Oscar-winning composer is in Goa for work. The film is said to be a multi-starrer including Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Simbu, Jyotika and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead, with the shooting likely to take place in January next year.

Producer Ekta Kapoor will reportedly develop another web series after Bose for Alt Balaji. This one will be based on the Mangalyaan space mission launched in 2013.

The producer recently visited the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in Bangalore to research for her latest series. The series will be directed by Nupur Asthana and will shed light on the three women scientists – Seetha Somasundaram, Nandini Harinath and Minal Rohit.
