The Telangana state government is planning to allocate 50 acres of land near Shamshabad and Adibatla for a film institute. According to a source, the government plans to invite studios associated with major film personalities like Yash Chopra, BR Chopra, Suresh Babu, and Nagarjuna to help develop film studios nearby.

Ram Mohan Rao, president of the Telangana State Film Chamber of Commerce (TSFCC) said, “Recently we met the Cinematography Minister Srinivas Yadav and he disclosed the government’s plans for the development of the film industry here.”
