Sillukarupatti seems to have caught the attention of 2D Entertainment,actor Suriya’s production company. The film is an anthology of four urban stories that stars an ensemble cast that includes Leela Samson, Samuthirakani, Sunainaa, Sara Arjun, Manikandan K, to name a few.
Speaking to the press about the news, Rajsekar Karpoorasundarapandian, CEO 2D Entertainment, said, “2D Entertainment has been consistently supporting content-oriented films and we have been producing and supporting films that make families throng to the theatres. Sillukarupatti is exactly the kind of movie that we like.”

The film is being released by Sakthi Film Factory Signature Release, a banner created especially to curate interesting content. Sakthivel, the head of the label said, “This is our first film under this niche label. We hope to employ the best marketing strategies to ensure that the film catches everyone’s attention and does well.”
The film’s director Halitha Shameem said, “Suriya sir and Jyothika ma’am we’re really appreciative of the film. I am very happy that 2D Entertainment has acquired the rights for this movie.”
The release date for the film is yet to be announced.
