Vidyullekha Raman was the opening act this week. In a breezy interview, the up and coming comedienne shared anecdotes from her time in the film industry and also, her love for theatre. Later, director Mysskin revealed the books and films that inspired him in our weekly feature, and music composer Sai Madhukar took us through the composing process of Manasu Adhu from Thavarana Pathai. Our favourite songstress Shreya Ghoshal celebrated her birthday last week, and we compiled eleven beautiful songs for her. In other numbers, seven things we heard at a press meet of Romeo Juliet were catalogued for a special feature; and five must watch coming of age films were profiled.

The OK Kanmani team offered us a glimpse into one of the songs from the movie, Romeo Juliet’s trailer was unveiled and Gautham Menon made plans to revisit Dhuruva Nakshathiram.

The ladies were all over our photos section last week. Deepa Sannidhi and Nikki Galrani made it to our photo feature while actresses Vijayalakshmi and Regina Cassandra made it to our HQ section.

On the reviews front, Rajathandhiram was a thrilling heist film, while Ivanukku Thannila Gandam was full of crude, sophomoric humour. The Anushka Sharma film NH10 was a dark thriller, riveting and very violent.
