2.0 Makers Postpone Film To Achieve New Standards In VFX

Rajinikanth’s 2.0 has been postponed. The film, originally scheduled to release this Diwali, will now release on January 25. The project’s makers hope to capitalise on the Republic day holiday.

According to a representative for the project, the film still has a lot of VFX left to be done. “We are trying to achieve a standard that is unknown to the world. Naturally, such ambition requires hard work, time and a lot of patience. So, we have decided to move the dates.”

The film has Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson in lead roles. Akshay Kumar is the villain in this film that is rumoured to have a budget of over Rs 400 crores. Lyca Productions bankrolls this ambitious sequel to Enthiran, directed by Shankar.
