2014 is turning out to be actor Siddharth’s busiest year yet. Jigarthanda, his mafia musical with director Karthik Subbaraj, is on the verge of release and has been named one of the top five movies to watch out for by Forbes magazine. His ambitious Kaaviya Thalaivan with director Vasantha Balan is in post production now. And surprisingly, Lucia – the remake of the popular Kannada hit of the same name has also been completed. Actress Deepa Sannidhi plays the female lead in this film while Siddharth takes over the role made famous by Kannada actor Sathish. DoP Gopi Amarnath, renowned for his work in Pizza, handles the cinematography for this movie and Santhosh Narayanan composes music. Debutant director Prasath Ramar is helming this project while Leo John Paul has been roped in as the editor.
Thirukumaran Entertainment has bankrolled this venture and is looking to release it soon.
