Baahubali‘s Sets Are Open To Public Now

The massive sets of SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali at Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad is now open to public. The film city is offering tour packages to fans of the film to experience what it’s like to live in the city of Mahishmati, designed by art director Sabu Cyril. According to Ramoji Rao Film City’s official statement, many film students across the country have been visiting the sets and it has become a major tourist attraction now.

The unguided general tour package costs Rs 1,250 and premium tour, that is facilitated with a guide, costs Rs 2,400.

In a series of tweets last night, Kerala’s, Chief Minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, condemned the Hindu Mahasabha for threatening Kamal Haasan. He came out in the actor’s defence and said that such religious fanatics should be immediately arrested by the government.

Kamal Haasan responded to the comments of Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha’s Vice President, Ashok Sharma. Sharma accused the actor for his Hindu extremist comment and said that people like him should be shot dead.

 “If we question them, they call us anti-nationals and want us jailed. Now since there is no space in jails they want to shoot us and kill us,” Kamal said while addressing a group of farmers.

Team Saaho Shoots In Abu Dhabi

After completing a major schedule in Hyderabad, team Saaho is  heading to Abu Dhabi to can a major action sequence.  To avoid any leak of pictures from the shooting spot, the production house has asked the crew to avoid mobile phones during the shoot.  The team wants to keep everything about the film under wraps.

When Harvey Weinstein Visited Bollywood

Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, who has been accused of sexual assault, had once visited Mumbai to collaborate with Bollywood filmmakers. One filmmaker, who met him, recalls their meeting:

“I met him at the JW Marriott over lunch in 2003. His lunch. He had a  plate of pasta, while talking about how huge he was in the global entertainment industry. Truly obnoxious. I left the meeting vowing never to work with him,” said the filmmaker.
