Over the last few weeks there have been signs of a reunion. This, even as cast members Mathew Perry and Jennifer Anniston ‘broke the internet’ when they joined Instagram.

Variety reported that the cast “will return to the original “Friends” soundstage, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros. Studio lot in Burbank to celebrate the long-running series, which ended its run in 2004.”

The star cast will reportedly be paid $2.5 million each for the special. Variety also reports that “Ben Winston will direct the special and executive produce alongside “Friends” executive producers Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman and David Crane.”
