The upcoming Malayalam movie Aabhaasam, which is written and directed by debutant Jubith Narmadath, released its trailer recently.

The film focuses on a group of people and their encounters during a long bus journey. The trailer reveals that it deals with a wide range of socio-political topics related to Kerala, gender rights, women empowerment and the current politics and philosophies of MK Gandhi, BR Ambedkar and Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Suraj Venjaranmodu, Rima Kallingal and Nassar are the lead star cast. Mamu Koya, Alancier and Indrans are among the supporting cast. The movie is a satire on the current establishment.
The movie, which was earlier scheduled to release in January, got postponed as it was not cleared by the censor board.
The music has been composed by the band Oorali and the background score is by Dev. The movie is slated for a Vishu release.
