Actor Aadhi Pinisetty, whose role in Tamil thriller Eeram received a lot of appreciation, has been roped in for the Telugu-Tamil remake of the Kannada movie U-Turn, directed by Pawan Kumar.
The film starring Samantha Akkineni is already in the production stage. It also stars Malayalam actor Narain, Rahul Ravindran, Bhumika Chawla, who is expected to take on the role of the ghost, which was played by Radhika Chetan in the original.
According to The Times of India, Aadhi will be playing the role of a cop, while Rahul Ravindran will be seen as Samantha’s boyfriend. The film is bankrolled by Srinivasaa Silver Screen in both languages.
The story of the original movie revolved around the death of motorists who flouted traffic rules on a particular flyover in Bengaluru. The culprit is finally caught by a rookie journalist and a cop. The film had Shraddha Srinath in the lead role. Roger Narayan, Dilip Raj and Radhika Chetan feature in supporting roles.
