Aamir Khan has said that both Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion, and his own Dangal are making the country proud, and should not be compared to each other.
While Dangal initially set box office records in India and few overseas markets, Baahubali quickly overtook the film and raked in over Rs. 1500 crores within a short time of releasing. However, Dangal has found fresh viewers in China and has been slowly bringing in the money.

Asked if Dangal could overtake Baahubali in collections, Aamir said, “I am very happy the film is being appreciated so much in China and across the world. But I don’t think there should be any comparisons. I have not seen Baahubali 2 yet but it’s a very successful film and have heard so many good things about it.”
Aamir congratulated SS Rajamouli and the Baahubali 2 team, and said “Both are good films in their own rights, both are Indian films which are making the country proud. I am proud of Baahubali as well and as an Indian fan I would really appreciate the fact that the film is doing so well all over the world.”
