Actor Bala has, finally, confirmed that he will be filing a divorce petition by the end of this month. The actor told Deccan Chronicle that he and his wife, Amrutha, were separating legally. He added that he wanted the best for his daughter Avanthika and didn’t want to blame anybody.
The actor however, refrained from divulging details about his failed marriage.
Actor Bala fell in love with Amrutha after they met at a music reality show in which he was a celebrity judge and she was a contestant. The couple got hitched in 2010 and Amrutha delivered a baby girl three years ago. Amrutha is a playback singer in Mollywood.

On June 10, Amrutha, on her official Facebook page, requested people to stop sharing news about the divorce. Her message read, “For those who enjoy doing these craps. .. what pleasure do you get from this? Leave us alone. . hope facebook pages are meant for good causes and not for playing with families… shame on you people(sic)”
After Bala couldn’t get a strong foothold in Tamil industry, he moved his base to Kerala where he earned a good name.
