Actor Dileep Questioned For Over 12 Hours In Malayalam Actress Abduction Case

Malayalam actor Dileep and his friend, director Nadirshah, have been questioned by the Kochi police for conspiring to abduct and assault a Malayalam actress in February.

Dileep had recently claimed that the main accused in the case, Pulsar Suni, had demanded money from him, and threatened to frame him as the mastermind. According to a report in The News Minute, a friend of Suni’s had asked Dileep to pay Rs 1.5 crore to them.

However, when Dileep was questioned by the police for more than 12 hours, speculations on his complicity ran high. Meanwhile, Dileep said the questioning had been limited to the blackmail issues alone. Dileep’s manager, Appuni is also present at the Aluva Club for questioning.

Before speaking to the police, Dileep had told the media, “I am not ready to be part of any media trial. I will make my side clear to the police and the court. I’m not willing to play by media frenzy.”

After the questioning, he said “I have given detailed statement based on the complaint I filed. We also spoke in detail about the crime itself.”

However, Superintendent of Police George had a different version of the interrogation. He said the actor could be called again if needed. He said, “At this stage, it is not possible to give a clean chit to anyone, we will question Dileep again if needed.”
