Actor JD Chakravarthy wed model/actress Anukriti Sharma in Hyderabad recently. The wedding was an intimate affair in the presence of close friends and family. According to reports, JD finally decided to get married as his mother expressed her wish ‘to see the 46-year- old actor as a family man’.
The couple met while working on Ram Gopal Varma’s Sreedevi last year. Interestingly, both the groom and the bride made their acting debuts with a RGV film.
JD Chakravarthy is predominantly known for his movies in Telugu. He made his debut with Shiva directed by Ram Gopal Varma in 1989. He went on to act in Sathya and is known for his roles in films such as Sarvam with actor Arya and Kacheri Arambam starring Jiiva. He was last seen in the Tamil movie Zero directed by Shiv Mohaa.
Anukriti Sharma was recently in news for her film Sreedevi. The film was mired in controversy since its inception and was abandoned mid-way.
