Actor Sarathkumar will be seen in GV Prakash’s next movie, provisionally called G8. According to a press release, the actor will be seen donning two different looks. He has also taken special sword fighting classes for the film.
The movie is said to be a ‘revenge-thriller’ in which GV Prakash plays the role of a Muslim mechanic lost in Kasi. Directed by debutant Shanmugam Muthusamy, the movie has debutante Marathi actress, Vaibhavi Shandilya, in the lead female role. Thambi Ramaiah, Robo Shankar, RJ Blade Shankar, RJ Mirchi Vijay, and Arun Raja Kamaraj will be seen in supporting roles. Actor Sathyaraj is also rumoured to be part of the cast.
The movie will be produced by M S Sharavanan of Sri Green Productions which produced the recent horror-comedy, Jackson Durai. G8 marks GV Prakash’s eighth movie in a lead role.
Meanwhile, actor Sarathukumar is occupied with Kannada movie, Rajkumara starring Puneeth Rajkumar.
G V Prakash has a couple of movies lined up this year. His upcoming movie Kadavul Irukan Kumaru (KIK) will have an October release. Directed by Suresh of Boss Engira Bhaskaran fame, the movie has Nikki Galrani and Avika Gor in lead roles. The first look of the movie will be released on 17 August.

Another movie in the pipeline, is Bruce Lee directed by Prasanth Pandiraj. G V Prakash is also the music director of Meendum Oru Kadhal Kadhai starring Isha Talwar.
The music director turned actor has given two releases so far, this year: Pencil and Ennaku Innoru Per Irruku. Both the movies had a decent run at the box office.
