On Friday night, certain persons spread rumours on social media and phone apps, claiming that veteran comedian Senthil had passed away due to a heart attack.
However, the press has confirmed that Senthil is currently campaigning on behalf of the AIADMK party in Trichy for the upcoming Assembly elections. He later sent out a video statement through his PRO, clarifying that he was all right. Senthil has acted in over 250 Tamil films, and is known for his comedy scenes with actor Goundamani.
