Actress Manju Warrier’s brother, Madhu, was reportedly interrogated by the Kerala police on Wednesday in connection with the abduction and assault of a Malayalam actress in February. According to a Manorama report, Madhu was mostly asked questions about Dileep, and his relationship with his ex-wife Manju.
Apart from Madhu, Dileep’s sister’s husband was also interrogated by the police on the same day since he had been handling a lot of Dileep’s businesses.
Manju Warrier and Dileep divorced in 2015, after 17 years of marriage They have a daughter called Meenakshi. Dileep married his Pinneyum co-star Kavya Madhavan last year.
Dileep, who is currently accused of plotting the abduction and assault of the actress, allegedly held a grudge against Madhu for telling Manju about his affair with Kavya.

The actor, who was arrested by the Kerala police on July 10, had reportedly offered Rs 2 crore to prime accused Pulsar Suni to assault the actress and shoot a video of her.
A Manorama report also suggests that the police has found that Dileep was married to a distant relative of his, before Manju Warrier, and that the wedding was officially recorded at the registrar office in Desam, Aluva, Dileep’s hometown. The police are trying to retrieve the original records for further investigation.
