Actress Assault Case: A Timeline Of Events Leading Up To Dileep In Court

Dileep, Arrest, Remand Notice, Evidence

Last week, the Kerala High Court slammed Dileep, the accused in the actress assault case, for deliberately trying to stall the trial proceedings. The court had wished for the trial proceedings to be completed in under six months, but Dileep had filed a plea against such a motion. He had also filed a counter plea against the move to appoint a women judge to hear the case. The court asked Dileep why he wished to delay the case, and reportedly stated that the ‘cat which was trapped had been let out.’
