Actress Telangana Shakuntala, who played the iconic ‘Swarna Akka’ in Vikram’s Dhool died in Hyderabad on June 12. The 63 year old actress mostly known for her villainous roles suffered a heart attack and died enroute to the hospital. Following her passing, a slew of South Indian stars took to social media platforms to express their condolences.
Shakuntala was fmous for her Telangana accent and entered the film industry in the eighties. She went on to become a popular stage and small screen artiste. She was last seen in the January 2014 movie Pandavalu Pandavalu Thummeda starring the Manchu family, Hansika Motwani and Pranitha Subhash.
