It’s interesting how despite being in the showbiz for so long, actress Aditi Rao Hydari has never been part of a Telugu film, even though she hails from Hyderabad.
Sammohanam, starring Sudheer Babu as her co-star and directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti, will mark her debut in Tollywood and from the looks of the recently released teaser, something interesting is on the cards. What’s more, she has dubbed for herself in the film, despite not being fluent in Telugu.
Shares a source from the film’s unit, “She doesn’t know the language at all but is a very quick learner and did an incredible job with the dubbing. Her character is such that it works that she doesn’t know the language well. However, Aditi was becoming so perfect with her diction through the process of dubbing that the director had to ask her to add in some flaws!”
Apparently many on the sets were quite intrigued by how quickly she was able to grasp her lines, especially when some of them were quite complicated to mouth.
The film sees Aditi play a cine star, and is touted to be an intense romance drama. Produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad, the film releases in June.
