After Agneepath, Pankaj Tripathi And Hrithik Roshan To Lock Horns In Super 30

There’s no stopping National Award winner Pankaj Tripathi. According to DNA, Tripathi will be playing an antagonist in the film Super 30, which stars Hrithik Roshan as the lead.

Hrithik and Pankaj had previously locked horns in the 2012 blockbuster Agneepath. For the second time, Super 30, will also have Pankaj playing Hrithik’s arch rival. Hrithik plays the role of ace mathematician Anand Kumar who trains 30 deserving, economically backward students for IIT-JEE – the entrance exams of IIT – each year, with a commendable success rate.

Talking about his role in the film, Pankaj said: “My character in Super 30 is negative with a very quirky sense of humour to him. The character has a lot of spontaneity and it was a lot of fun playing him due to that very spontaneity. Working with Hrithik is always a great experience because he is a brilliant actor and an equally superb human being. And owing to the fact that I know Hrithik and we have worked together in the past, there’s a comfort level that we share. So it’s always an enjoyable experience working with him.”

Pankaj Tripathi was last seen in Kaala and is also working on a web-series called Mirzapur.

Helmed by Vikas Bahl, Super 30, is scheduled to hit the theatres in January 2019.
