Ai’s music will be launched in a glittering ceremony at Nehru Stadium, Chennai. Arnold Schwarzenegger has confirmed that he will indeed be making an appearance at the event. The team has also invited top celebrities from all southern film industries and some Bollywood stars to add glamour to the function. The film’s producer, Aascar Ravichandran, told us that the teaser for Ai will be released soon after the audio launch, and that plans are on to hold a grand event for that as well.
The movie, which has been in the making for a long time, is scheduled to release this Deepavali in several languages – including Hindi, Chinese and Thai. And since a major portion of the film was shot in China, the team has formed a pact with the local government to release Ai in over 3000 theatres in the country.
Ai has Vikram and Amy Jackson in the lead while Bollywood actor Upen Patel plays the baddie. AR Rahman has composed five songs for Ai and Anirudh Ravichander has crooned for one of them.
