The audio of director Shankar’s Ai is likely to be launched in August. AR Rahman has delivered the master copy of the songs he composed for director Shankar’s Ai to the producer of the movie. The much awaited project has been delayed for a long time, reportedly due to the financial issues faced by the film’s producer Aascar Films’ Ravichandran. The producer is in debt now and this has delayed several projects made under his banner, among them Bhooloham, Thirumanam Enum Nikkah and Ai. Now, sources close to the movie tell Silverscreen that the audio of Ai will be launched in August, and that the movie will likely release in September.
The film, said to be a romantic thriller, stars Vikram and Amy Jackson in the lead. The post production work on Ai is on now and will be completed soon.
