Ai is scheduled to release this Deepavali. Director Shankar’s magnum opus has been long in the making and has been awaiting a release date for the past few months. Speaking to us, the film’s producer Aascar Ravichandran confirmed that the film will go head to head with Kaththi on October 23. Starring Vikram and Amy Jackson, the movie went on floors in 2012 and has been made on an enormous budget.
The audio by AR Rahman is set to be launched next month and some international celebrities have been roped in to add some glitz to the event. Interestingly, Ai will be released in Hindi, Malayalam,Telugu, Chinese and Thai languages.
